First Ever Pink Cooking Award

The winner of the first ever PINK COOKING AWARD is . . . ME!!!! Yes I was a major dumb ass tonight and had no choice but to give myself this award. While cooking dinner I accidentally turned on the wrong burner of the stove and went to take a shower. Wile in the shower I heard the smoke detector going off. Why was it going off? Because sitting on the burner that was on was the bucket that we keep our kitchen utensils in. All of the wooden spoons were on fore so I had to grab it with some pot holders and put it in the sink and run water into it to put out the flames. Casualties include all wooden spoons and spatualas, the basting brush melted nicely to the bottom of the bucket, the cor screw is no more. Along with the fatalities severe burns were recieved by the ruber spatula, the pizza cutter, and the large grill spatula. Please pray for the deseased and injured kitchen utensils as well as their families.

PINK JERSEY AWARD!!!!

This weeks Pink Jersey Award goes to Hockey East Ref Tom Fryer. So it was a horribly called game from the begining with poor calls going both ways. What a way to ruin what otherwise would have been a great hockey game. I will not go into all of the calls however there were two blatently bad calls which cost UNH the game. UNH is up 3-2 late in the third period when a scrum occures in front of the UNH net. UNH goalie Kevin Reagan has the puck covered up and the whistle blows. After the whistle the puck is jared free and croses the goal line. UNH gets screwed and is forced to go to overtime. In over time the Cats manage to poke in a lose puick from behind the goalie for what should have been the game winning and game ending goal. But the dumb ass ref blows the play dead a split second before and the goal is called back. Now while this was the right call the problem was he allowed the same thing to happen to UNH but gave Yale the goal and the Yale goalie never had the puck like Regan did for UNH. BUT MOSTLY HE GETS THE AWARD FOR CAUSING ME TO LOSE MY VOICE.

HEY MARTY . . . ANY DOUBT WE NEED BETTY?

Actual Photo of Black Betty as seen on http://modelmayhem.com/pics.php?id=175085

Last year Black Betty was banned from the Whitt by the evil AD Marty Scarano!!! Reluctantly this year she was allowed to return. As you can see from the above photo Betty is a bit racey . . . but does she need to be banned? The time off did give betty some time to work on her modeling career however she quickly learned that we needed her back. Just look at how the men's team tanked without her last season. Tonight betty showed just how important she is. UNH was down 1-0 to BC with 6 minutes to go in the game . . . things were looking bleak for the #1 rated Wildcats. Just when it looked like there was no hope Betty worked her magic. The power of Betty inspired UNH forward Jen Hitchcock to not score 1 but 2 goals to lift the Wildcats over the Eagles. You may not think this is such a big deal but it allowed Hitchcock to defy gravity to put home the GWG . . . see photo below.

FIRST EVER PINK JERSEY AWARD!!!
As any of you know who may read my blog my dear wife Erinn is known as the pink hat hater. Every week (well most weeks) during the hockey season she give out the pink hat award (aka the Brian Yandel Memorial Award). The award typical goes to a player who displays "Yandelesk" qualities on the ice or to some puck bunny fan who knows nothing about sports and only goes to games as a socail engagemnt. I felt this week that there was a recipient worthy of the Pink Hat Award that was over looked by my wife. However not wanting to steal her pink hat thunder I elected to award the first ever Pink Jersey Award. This award may not be awarded every week since usally I am in agreement with the Pink Hat Hater's selection and also because I am usually too lazy to be bothered posting on my Blog.

The First Ever Pink Jeresy Award goes to the PC FANS . . . now the Pink Hat Hater picked PC as a whole as her recipient however there was one galaring pink jersey deserving event that I saw. This was the PC fans cheering several times for their Zamboni driver. Now this in itself typically would not even warrent the slightest consideration. So why the award . . . because they cheered louded for their Zamboni then they did for the hockey team!!!. Now I know the hockey team was not exactly playing great hockey and the Zamboni driver probably did a better job resurfacing the ice than the PC team did playing hockey but maybee a little motivation from the fans would help.
